BreakdowN

Our 2024 Summer Cohort took place in person at our host, Pace University. Classes were M-F, 8AM-1PM in the classroom, computer lab, or field trips to local vendors.

Participants work in pairs to conceptualize, draft, source, budget, and present the design for a short film script. Lessons move quickly simulating the collaborative, yet fast-paced nature of the business. Each group completes a design deck and wrap book which provides details for their design from broad concept to custom scripted props.

Instructors are all active union members in the local industry. They share real examples of scenarios they face to prepare students for the realities of the ever-evolving industry.

After program conclusion, alumni are listed in our directory and stay in touch through our online message board for job opportunities and general career support.

Details for our Summer 2025 Program will be announced in the Spring.
